Blackberry Storm 3
It seems as if the Blackberry Storm 3 is causing quite a stir in the cell
phone industry. There have been reports that it's release has been cancelled.
This has not stopped people from talking about it.
The reason for the cancellation is that Verizon feel that the Blackberry Storm 3
is too close to the Storm 2 version such that it cannot be considered an upgrade
to make it to the Verizon lineup of Blackberry phones. This kind of information
has tipped the Storm 3 into the world of uncertainty, but there's been rumors
that the despite the cancellation, it is set to release during the first quarter
of 2011. This is supported by the fact that Best Buy has listed the 9750 RIM
Blackberry Storm 3 on their website. So, go figure.
No matter whether you love or hate it, RIM is searching for a way back into
popularity. With Apple and Android progressing ahead in popularity, RIM is going
to keep pushing the Blackberry Storm line until they get it right. With the
original Storm that was followed by the Storm 2 and soon to come will be the
Storm 3, it just so happens that there has surfaced recent information regarding
the Blackberry Storm 3 specs.
Being that this information is true, it appears that RIM has dropped the silver
sides of the Storm2 and killed any trace of color on the face of the buttons.
There has also been added an optical trackpad. According to this same
information, there is a 3.7 inch display with 8 Gigs of internal memory and the
ability to act as a mobile hot spot.
In conclusion, RIM has not set an official Blackberry Storm release date, but
with so much attention on their Blackberry Playbook, many sources believe that
it won't be released until have the Playbook as to not distract sales away from
